This specialist division of the Merryfield Engineering Group was created 25 years ago to satisfy the requirements of wholesale carpet distributors throughout the EC who extensively use carpet and vinyl roll cut length machines.

SERVICE CALLS

Developed out of necessity our engineering team undertakes repairs, service and installation to all makes of carpet machinery and offer quick and efficient response to breakdown call outs. ETF, Schwab, Snellma, HEL Systems, Delmec, E-Z Cut, Intertex, A5 Industries...Schneider....you name it ....we'll repair or service it.

MANUFACTURING NEW MACHINES

In conjunction with our design team we have developed and manufactured a range of specialised handling and cutting machinery for most types of roll stock.

Marketed within the UK as the Merryfield Gnat and the Merryfield Scorpion this range of new machines have been developed to address the problems often associated with to-days production requirements but still satisfies the stringent Health & Safety guidelines now enforced.

Our experience tells us that the individual customers often require certain features to be altered to suit their particular operation or factory layout. The Gnat's modular construction allows these changes to be implemented without difficulties.

USED CARPET MACHINERY

Here in Halifax is a unique facility for the carpet industry. Because of our long involvement with the carpet industry and in particular carpet and vinyl cut length machines, we are able to offer many used or fully refurbished machines at a fraction of the price of a new unit.

We will gladly part exchange, modify or refurbish your existing machine as your production requirements change.

Our extensive engineering workshops can cope with all sizes of equipment and complete machine erections are possible under our fully craned workshops.
